This is a NEW IN CRATE ABB Brushless Synchronous Motor/Generator Package for sale.  This machine was recently manufactured in the year 2012 for a plant that ended up not needing the asset.  This Motor/Generator often forms a part of a larger installation and is used to drive a pump or a compressor, or if coupled to a power source, it produces 9.35 MW of power, producing 12,470 Volts AC (+or- 10% Volts)  11,223 Volts -13,717 Volts

This machine can be used as an 18,350 Horse Power Synchronous 1200 RPM Electric Motor or a 9.3 MW Generator End.  All parts of this package are new and have never been installed. It's all ready to go to work for you. It is being stored in a climate controlled warehouse and is available for immediate on site inspection near a major airport (MKE) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209. The photos do not show the unit completely assembled.  (See photo number two) That is because it is still new in the original factory crates.  The hood / cooling package assembly, control box, main exciter terminal box, and more is still sealed inside of their original crates. All still in the crates shown in photos.  When the hood assembly is installed the unit is much taller, and has four cooling fans at the very top, two of which run at any given time.  Two are installed for redundancy or back up.  Screen plates are provided for the fans not currently in use to prevent back draft.  

This machine is being stored in a temperature controlled warehouse located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  It is available for inspection at your convenience.

Price includes loading. FOB Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209.  This load will entail two flat bed trucks, one of which will be a heavy haul.  Please contact our office for specific trucking information.
